We offer readers a two-volume English edition of all the books "Meditations on the Eucharist", which Fr. T. Dajczer (1931-2009) published during his lifetime. We owe this edition to Fr. Bryan Storey (1935-2018), who lived these contents and edited them wonderfully. It is an expression of gratitude to him and a significant part of the appendices is dedicated to him.

God desires to share his life with us, now on earth and in eternity. This truth belongs to what we describe as sanctity, but we hardly understand it. God’s Loving Presence shows it to be possible and available for everybody who desires it. The Eucharist is the way: it includes the Holy Sacrifice of Christ, our communion with Him, and His presence among us, affecting our lives when we choose to stay with her. When we allow Him to act, we see that we have not yet imagined our destination.

There in the Eucharist I can talk to Him with the eyes of faith, look at Him, admire Him, contemplate, adore. I may share my troubles, my worries and discover a Friend in whom I can always confide and who with such unusual love wants to give me everything. For in every way He is all Love. God miraculously comes onto our altars … to communicate Himself completely to us so that we find utter fulfilment in this Eucharistic encounter. It’s this that inspires every human meeting. (p.44)

We bump into each other, just brush against one another. Everyone’s lonely, often unconsciously. Relationships are mostly skin deep, without depth, superficial unless forced into something more. Yet our Eucharistic God invites us to the real challenge of greater love. (p.48)

One thing is needed – love for the Eucharist based on faith. Love is born by faith. This solves every problem. Love the Eucharist and you will know what to do; love the Eucharist and do what you will. (p.180)
