We offer readers a two-volume English edition of all the books "Meditations on the Eucharist", which Fr. T. Dajczer (1931-2009) published during his lifetime. We owe this edition to Fr. Bryan Storey (1935-2018), who lived these contents and edited them wonderfully. It is an expression of gratitude to him and a significant part of the appendices is dedicated to him.
The Eucharist is still the undiscovered land, the unknown world. Wanting to live the Eucharist, we need to hear the voice of grace that encourages: Set your foot on the undiscovered land, take the first, second and third step and He will lead you on. He, your God, who by rising from the dead has overcome all obstacles, now wants to introduce you to this stunning truth that is regularly occurring on our altars. (p.23)
Select quotations:
Earth may be shaking in its foundations, hurricanes may devastate woods, authorities may fall, our trusted leaders may be compromising. Yet as I listen to Jesus I hear: … I can turn every evil ... (p.49)
God is silence. When I try to be still, pushing my way towards the Invisible One, I am entering the extraordinary circle of His amazing, saving, Eucharistic presence. (p.60)
He allows me to adore Him in the palm of my hands at least for a moment as He only has me. He only has me. I am everything for Him. I need Him to be everything for me. (p.115)
Your sadness, anxiety and haste can all be subjected to redemption if you open yourself to me in the Sacrament of My Love. … I can then convince you again that there is no love like Mine. (p.178)
The spiritual life is a pathway. Each interior recess, winding corridor or passageway becomes amazingly transformed by the Eucharist. This change takes place in my thoughts and will. Christ wants to enlarge my soul’s capacity so that my interior becomes more and more diverse. (p.217-218)

This is not a book: this is an experience, this is an invitation to a deep inner renewal and prayer. It is not like other books on the Eucharist at all, it is interactive or should be… it is quite a revelation…

I love this book. I am an adult convert to Catholicism and while I have been a Christian for many years, the Eucharist is something I am just learning to understand.
